Considering all of the functions included with the HP OfficeJet 4359 All-in-One inkjet printer, its small footprint and compact design are even more impressive. It has an affordable purchase price, and HP 4359 printer ink is reasonably-priced. Print speeds are also impressive, at up to 30 pages per minute for black and up to 24 pages per minute for color.

The design of the 4359 looks a bit like a typical dedicated inkjet printer, but the extra input and output trays and the large control panel give it away. The panel includes a small LCD screen, dedicated buttons for copying and other functions, and even a full keypad for the faxing feature. Faxes can be transmitted and received quickly at Super G3 speeds of up to 33.6 Kbps, and up to 99 copies can be made from an original. Both copying and faxing can operate without the need for a PC.

The rear of the device includes the single USB port for a direct connection to a computer, and there is a straight-through paper path that opens up from the rear for media that users don't want to bend. The input paper capacity is 100 sheets, and the automatic document feeder can hold up to 20 sheets.

HP 4359 printer ink isn't the most affordable in its class, but it offers a fairly decent cost per page. The capacities for OfficeJet 4359 ink cartridges are somewhat limited, so users should expect to have to replace them fairly frequently, especially those who print a lot of documents. Compatible HP 4359 ink cartridges are available for lower prices for those who want a break from expensive OEM versions.

While some of its functions are limited by the lack of a flatbed scanner, the 4359 offers a good compromise for home users who can't afford the extra space. Its fast speeds and high-quality output along with affordable prices for OfficeJet 4359 ink make it easy to recommend for light-duty use.
