HP 4352 Printer Review

The ultra-compact HP OfficeJet 4352 All-in-One could be the perfect color inkjet for space-limited home users and personal use in a small office. It takes up a very small footprint, but can still scan, fax, and copy, while printing at speeds of up to 24 pages per minute in color and 30 pages per minute in monochrome. HP 4352 printer ink is fairly affordable, but high-volume users might find the costs add up over time.

Some buyers might expect the lack of a flatbed scanning surface to mean that the 4352 has reduced quality, as this is often the case with inkjet models aimed mainly at faxing. This is not the case, however, as the unit can scan at a high optical resolution of up to 1200 dpi, which is great for photos and archiving paper documents. It also includes OCR software for making these documents editable once they are converted to digital formats.

Printing can support resolutions of up to 1200 dpi when using only black OfficeJet 4352 printer ink, with an optimized resolution of up to 4800 dpi in color, which gives photos and graphics extra detail. The copy functionality is simplified, but easy to use, and faxing supports Super G3 speeds for transferring a document in as little as 3 seconds.

Two HP 4352 ink cartridges are included with the machine, and they are easy to install and replace. A larger capacity version of the black OfficeJet 4352 ink cartridge is available, that can help keep the cost per page down.

While its individual features may not be as advanced as separate dedicated machines, the 4352 offers a great mix of the most essential functions, in a very compact and affordable design that will suite most users. High-volume users might find the cost of HP 4352 ink a bit too high for their needs, however.
