However, for heavy-duty jobs, the 1,500 page monthly duty cycles could be an issue. The 4215 is better suited for low-volume printing.

Capable of printing on various types of paper, such as plain, photo and inkjet, as well as different media types, like labels, envelopes, cards, transparencies and iron-on transfers, the HP 4215 ink can adhere to almost any surface. There is a 100-sheet input tray and a 20-sheet output tray, as well as an automatic document feeder.

There are two HP 4215 ink cartridges that come with this printer. One is full of black printer ink and the other has three colors—cyan, magenta and yellow. The black can reach a resolution of 1200x1200 dpi, and the color tank maxes out at 4800x1200 dpi. There is an additional OfficeJet 4215 ink cartridge for photo printing and it is full of light cyan, light magenta and black. This printer ink tank will replace the black.

The fax machine can reach 300x300 dpi using black OfficeJet 4215 ink, while the color can get to 200x200 dpi. It has a 100 page memory, 80 speed dials and fax forwarding. The copier can print 100 pages from an original print and zoom up to 400%. The scanner has a resolution of 600x1200 dpi.
