It is designed for buyers who want to produce excellent 4x6 photos virtually anywhere, and it doesn't even need to be connected to a computer. Printer ink costs are high, as HP 375 ink is expensive.

The 375 is designed for true portability, and it will especially appeal to those who want great-looking photos without needing to use a computer. Generally, portable photo printers require only an outlet to operate, but the 375 doesn't even require that. Buyers can purchase an internal battery which supplies power on the go for up to 75 prints, and there is also an optional car adapter for drawing power from the car's battery. These options are included in the 375B and 375x models as well.

The unit is very small, measuring only 4.5 inches by 8.7 inches by 4.6 inches and weighing only 2.6 pounds. Adding the battery does add to the weight, but not significantly. The control panel and LCD screen make it easy to edit and print photos, and when connected to a computer, users have even more features and options at their disposal. Printer ink is more expensive than most inkjet solutions. This is mostly due to the small capacity of Photosmart 375 ink cartridges. HP 375 ink cartridges are also pricey because of their specialization. Using third-party compatible Photosmart 375 ink will reduce costs but not as much as more traditional ink solutions.

The HP 375 is an excellent machine for what it does. Buyers who want its portability and simplicity will be very pleased, but those who don't need these features may want to look for a more affordable solution, as HP 375 ink costs are very high.
