The HP Photosmart 2613 has virtually every option and feature available in a multifunction inkjet model. It can print, scan, copy and fax and has a number of advanced photo features as well. It is compact enough for most small offices, and its price tag is low enough for small budgets. Buyers will even save on printer ink with inexpensive Photosmart 2613 ink cartridges.

The office features of the machine are better than many laser models, with a faxing speed of up to 33.6 Kbps, the ability to store up to 60 incoming pages in memory, and support for PC faxing which is a very convenient feature. Copying is quick and easy, though limited somewhat by the lack of a document feeder. Scanning quality is excellent, and is geared toward excellent photo scans. It has an optical resolution of up to 4800 dpi and an interpolated resolution of 19200 dpi at a 48-bit color depth.

Print speed is also fast, at up to 30 pages per minute in black and 20 pages per minute in color. Photos will print much slower, but the unit supports borderless printing at most popular sizes for great photo prints. Memory card slots and a PictBridge USB port round out the great photo-centric features.

While inkjet models are notorious for high printer ink costs, HP 2613 ink is very affordable. The large capacities of HP 2613 ink cartridges result in a low cost per page that is one of the best in its class. Buyers may want to consider using third-party compatible HP 2613 ink for even better prices.
