The HP Business Inkjet 2600 ink printer is a durable high-volume color printing device meant for business printing. It supports a wide variety of media including labels, envelopes, photo paper, plain paper, coated paper, transparencies, and glossy coated paper. Don't mistake the for the HP 2600 toner printer that uses laser technology as this is an inkjet printer. Maximum media size supported is 13 in x 19 in. The machine ships with a dual paper tray for efficient, high volume printing. This PC and Mac compatible device offers a monthly duty cycle of 12,000 pages, it is not really geared for good quality photo prints and is thus suitable for office workgroups that primarily require monochrome text prints.

The HP 2600 ink cartridge printing device measures 28.5 x 22.4 x 11.1 in and weighs an impressive 39.7 lbs. You can avail print speeds of up to 15 ppm for monochrome and 11 ppm for color prints. Maximum monochrome and color resolutions are the same - 1200 dpi x 600 dpi. The HP 2600 inkjet cartridge printer uses individual inkjet cartridges and printheads. The HP 10 Black ink cartridge has a page yield of 1750 pages. The HP 11 cartridges for cyan, magenta, and yellow offer a similar yield.

Browser-based management via the embedded server is a standout feature of the Business Inkjet 2600 inkjet printing machine. You can use it for executing print functions, view status reports, and receive emails on situations regarding machine malfunction. The 2600dn model comes with in-built duplexing and networking capabilities. Wired connectivity is via a parallel and Sub port. Also, the machine is CAD-ready for AutoCAD 13 and 14. Two input trays with capacities of 150 and 250 sheets, respectively ensure smooth paper handling for even A3 sized sheets.

The HP Business Inkjet 2600 inkjet printing machine is easy to install, has the advantage of browser-based management, and offers decent print speeds. However, for its cost, the machine does not really deliver the kind of print quality that a business user can justifiably expect. Low-end laser printers costing less than this model deliver better quality prints.
