This video covers the remanufactured HP Q2612A toner cartridge, which replaces the original OEM Q2612A cartridge.

The HP Q2612A toner cartridge is the standard supply for a number of models, and is a bit more affordable than the Q2612X model, while still supplying up to 2,000 pages. It weighs a little under 2 pounds, and is available in both OEM and remanufactured versions.

When you are ready to use your Q2612A toner cartridge, open the box and remove its packaging materials. Then remove it from the bag. Be sure not to touch the green roller, as it could easily be damaged by oils from your hands.

Rock the HP Q2612A cartridge forward and backward several times. This will help loosen and distribute the toner, as it may have settled during shipping. You can then grab the loop of the packing strip and pull it straight out to remove it.

Open the lid of your laser printer. Then remove the empty cartridge by grabbing its handle and pulling upward. It will tilt itself slightly and slide along the guide rails on the sides.

Insert the new Q2612A toner cartridge, sliding it along the guide rails until it settles in place. You can now close the lid, and you are ready to resume printing.

The HP Q2612A toner cartridge is compatible with many popular HP models such as the LaserJet 1010 and 1020 series of compact laser printers, and multifunction models such as the 3015, 3020, 3030, and 3050 series, as well as the LaserJet M1005 and M1319 multifunction laser printers.
