The HP OfficeJet 100 mobile printer is an inkjet printer built for on-the-go printing. Unlike many similar machines, though, the 100 doesn't sacrifice speeds for size. With a 22 page per minute speed when printing in black-and-white and an 18 page per minute speed when printing in color, buyers will be able to keep on schedule whether printing in an office, a hotel room or a coffee shop. Able to print both wirelessly or connected, the HP 100 offers versatility and mobility needed for many. Compatible with Bluetooth enabled devices, users will be able to print directly from many cell phones without even thinking about a computer connection. Ever wish last minute printing was possible on the way to a work event? With the 100 it is, because the unit is battery operated and doesn't need a power source for printing. The battery only needs 3 hours to be fully charged, and it is Energy Star compliant, so the environment will be safe. Weighing 9.9 pounds, this inkjet will be easy to lift and move around, and the compact size makes it a simple adjustment for offices too.

Even though the unit is so small, three HP 100 ink cartridges are needed for printing—tricolor, black and photo color. When photos are being printed, the photo color printer ink can replace the black OfficeJet 100 ink to help create lab-quality results.

Two variations of the black and color HP 100 ink are available—standard capacity and high capacity. The high capacity black printer ink lasts 480 pages, while the standard lasts 420 pages. The color will last 330 pages and 560 pages for standard and high capacity, respectively. The photo OfficeJet 100 ink cartridge will only last 130 pages, though, and no high capacity form is available. For those who plan on printing a lot of photos, replacements may be needed quite often.
