This is not an average laser printer; rather it has a number of built-in features that allow it to operate at efficient speeds while creating a professional level of quality. It can print, copy, scan and fax, thus opening up the space of four separate machines. The DSc545 is far from compact, though, with a frame of 26x26x30 inches and a weight close to 300 pounds.

Regardless of the operating system used in the office, this color laser device will be compatible. It connects to a computer via USB port and a series of computers through an ethernet interface, which is needed for networking. Wireless connectivity is an optional feature.
