While it may not win awards for its speed, the Epson Expression Home XP-300 Small-in-One could be a contender for one of the longest names for an all-in-one inkjet printer. Designed for quiet operation with a compact design, it is a great choice for the home user, and Epson XP-300 printer ink supplies are just as affordable as the unit's low upfront price.

The unit's compact design allows it to be somewhat folded up for storage, but it measures only 11x15.4x20.8 inches even when printing. Fully setup and with the Expression Home XP-300 ink installed, it still weighs just 9 pounds, so it could be easily moved out of the way when not in use.

The input paper tray is limited to 100 sheets, and there is not separate multipurpose tray, though it can support many different media types, such as photo paper, matte paper, iron-on transfers, and more.

For such an affordable price, it is somewhat surprising to find a color LCD on the control panel. Though it is only 1.44 inches, it works well for previewing images from the included memory slots for simple printing without a computer. Mobile printing via Google Cloud and AirPrint is available, as well, for even more flexibility.
