Even if the Epson Stylus N11 inkjet printer doesn't meet the claims of "laser-quality text", the fact that such a compact and affordable device could even get close is a major bonus. Add to that its excellent photo printing, and you have a very well-rounded device. It's ISO speeds of 2.9 pages per minute in black and 1.5 pages per minute in color could be better, but affordable price for Epson N11 printer ink help to make up for it.

The unit measures 5.3x16.3x8.9 inches, though it goes up to 10.4 inches when the tray is opened for printing. Its light weight of just 5.3 pounds makes it ideal for moving around for storage when not in use, though this doesn't include the weight of the Stylus N11 printer ink supplies. The machine is limited to a single USB port, while many modern buyers might expect wireless sharing from their devices.

When it comes to image quality, the N11 has an optimized resolution of up to 5760x1440 dpi, for sharp images and smooth colors. The DURABrite Ultra Epson N11 ink is smudge, water, and fade-resistant as well, so even if users touch prints immediately, they won't smear. The input paper capacity is 100 sheets, and the tray can accept sizes from 3.5x5 inches to media up to 44 inches in length.

Four individual Stylus N11 ink cartridges allow user to replace only the color that is empty, with much less waste. The Epson N11 ink cartridges are available in standard and high-capacity versions, for a lower upfront price or a lower cost per page, respectively.

As a single-function inkjet printer, the Epson N11 won't compete with all-in-one devices and their variety of features. What it does offer is excellent print quality at a very low price, and its small frame will be an easy fit in a home environment.
