The Epson Stylus C65, with the use of DURABrite printer ink, is able to produce projects that are water, smudge and fade resistant on any type of supported media. This is possible because the unit uses a pigment Epson C65 ink that has a protective resin coating surrounding every printer ink particle, intended to prevent it from fading over time. In addition, the unit uses MicroPiezo technology that produces small droplets that lend to a sharp maximum resolution of 5760x1440 dpi using Stylus C65 ink.

With the use of such technology and its 4-color print system, the C65 will continuously produce graphics, photos and black-and-white documents with exact detail and precision. It operates with individual black, cyan, yellow and magenta Epson C65 ink cartridges that will be easy to replace since they are packaged separately. With yield of only around 400 pages for each color supply and 540 for the black Stylus C65 ink cartridge, the machine is best used in environments that don't demand high volume printing.

With print speeds of up to 17 pages per minute for black-and-white projects, the C65 is fast compared to other personal inkjet printers. The unit is also able to produce full-color, 8x10 inch photo in a matter of minutes. When printing on 4x6 inch photo paper, the C65 even offers True Borderfee printing that will allow printing right up to the edges on all 4 sides of paper.
