The Dell B2360dn monochrome laser printer comes at a very affordable price, but still has the networking support and fast speeds of up to 40 pages per minute that a busy small office needs. It has limited mobile printing for Android devices, and automatic duplexing comes as a standard feature. Dell B2360dn printer toner is also pretty affordable to replace.
The B2360dn is part of as series that includes the B2360 base model and the B2360d, which includes duplexing, but not networking support. This makes the B2360dn much more suited to a shared office environment, where it can be connected and shared among multiple users. Wireless support is also available as an optional upgrade.
Like many modern devices, the incorporates the ability to print from devices like smartphones and tablets, with the use of the Dell Mobile Print app. Currently, this is only available on Android devices, however.
The standard input paper capacity includes a 250-sheet main tray and a 50-sheet multipurpose tray. Users have one upgrade option, with a 550-sheet additional tray, bringing the total capacity up to 850 sheets. Automatic duplexing allows users to print on both sides of the page for reduced paper usage, and a Toner Save mode can help stretch the Dell B2360dn toner supplies a little further.
Dell B2360dn toner cartridges have a capacity of 8,500 pages, and replacement toners are readily available from online vendors. Though compatible Dell B2360dn toner cartridges are not as easy to find, the price of OEM supplies is fairly reasonable, for a cost per page of around 2 cents.
It isn't the fastest device in its class, but the Dell B2360dn is most attractive due to the balance between its low purchase price and solid performance. For a small office that needs its networking and duplexing capabilities, it is a good value.
