For an all-in-one inkjet printer, the Dell 962 has all the necessary bells and whistles, including printing, copying, scanning, and faxing at a low-cost. It's a large printer with an automatic document feeder on top and a PictBridge port for printing photos directly from your digital camera. The Dell 962 ink printer performs printing and copying quickly, but it ultimately lacks in print and photo quality

The printer dimensions of this solid machine measure 19.7" wide x 17.3" deep x 11.7" high and it weighs a hefty 25 pounds, but a lot of functions are packed into this printer. It boasts decent printing and copying speeds of 20 pages per minute for black and 15 pages per minute for color. However, the text and graphic qualities are lower than you might expect. The Dell 962 inkjet cartridges come in a standard two tank setup for four-color printing. However, one of the downsides is if you want to produce six-color printing you need to switch out each color Dell 962 inkjet cartridge to ones that are specifically made for photos.

Unique features include a well-organized and easy to understand control panel. You can quickly choose which function you want to perform with the touch of a button and can even choose between mono or color copying in order to prevent ink waste. This printer also allows you to print photos, make copies, and send faxes without connecting to your computer. It's compatible with Windows 2000/XP/Vista and connects using a standard USB cable.

The Dell 962 inkjet printer is considered a good choice for printing photos fast and users like the convenience of a 50-page automatic feeder, the solid construction, and its simple faxing, copying, and scanning functions. For the price it's a good overall all-in-one printer.

On the downside, the Dell 962 printer is missing a well-needed memory card port and its overall print qualities are less than stellar. However, its standalone business functions are perfect for the home or office.
