With a large 50-sheet document feeder and an expandable paper capacity, the Canon NP6350 laser copier is built for high-volume copying at fast speeds. Its heavy design might not appeal to offices with limited space, but the affordability of Canon NP6350 printer toner that will be appealing to budget-conscious buyers, even if the upfront price is a little steep.

The NP6350 comes standard with no less than two front paper cassettes and two front paper decks, but it can also be expanded to a maximum input paper capacity of 5,550 sheets when outfitted with an optional side paper deck. It is worth noting, however, that this will add considerable bulk to the device.

When copying, the 50-sheet automatic document feeder can crank through stacks of paper at high speeds, though it is limited to media sizes up to A4, so offices that frequently use legal and other larger sizes may want to look elsewhere. Canon has made an effort to increase reliability, by redesigning the pick-up and feeding mechanisms and even the Canon NP6350 toner for better image quality.

The unit has a fairly slow warm-up time of around 5 minutes or more, which is not unexpected for such a large machine. The first copy out time is as little as 3 seconds, however, so it responds quickly once it is warm.

Toners are easily accessed by opening the access panel, and Canon NP6350 toner cartridges have an impressive capacity of up to 30,000 pages, so they won't need replacing often. In fact, even when fully upgraded, the unit could go through its entire paper supply over 5 times before a new Canon NP6350 toner cartridge would be needed.

With large capacities that cater to the busy office, the NP6350 might just earn its high price tag, particularly when considering its low running costs. The large, duplex document feeder is a nice bonus that will make users more productive as well.
