If the home office is in need of a hard working printing device, the Canon Pixma MX700 inkjet printer could be the right choice. Costing less than $200, it's hard to believe this little machine could be so tough and durable, but it is much more than just that. Compatible with Windows as well as Mac, it is suitable for most home users.

Don't have a printer but want to print your photos from home? Don't worry, the Pixma MX700 can print directly from a digital camera, camcorder or USB bored. The auto document feeder can even hold up to 30 pages, meaning less work the user has to do with each print. It can copy and print at a rate of 30 pages per minute with black printer ink and 20 pages per minute with color Canon MX700 ink.

Four Canon MX700 ink cartridges are used in the unit. The Canon Pixma MX700 ink cartridges come in black, magenta, yellow and cyan. These colors form together on the paper to make beautiful accurate and precise images print after print. Copies are said to look remarkably similar to the originals. The color printer ink has a resolution of 4800x1200 dpi, and the black has a resolution of 600x600 dpi. Though the Pixma MX700 ink makes sharp colors and images, the price tag doesn't reflect that. This Canon MX700 ink is more than affordable, and the page yield 650 for black and 280 for color—which isn't so bad either.

Reviews of the Pixma MX700 inkjet unit are fairly positive. Most love their Canon printer and the wonderful documents it creates. Many are very pleased with how easy set up and usage are, even commenting that it was the easiest electronic device they've ever set up. A few have complained that it is heavy and bulky, weighing 22.3, but the complaints are few and far in-between.
