The Canon Pixma MP810 inkjet printer is a good option for anyone with an interest in photography who would like to do their photo printing from home. Costing $300, it seems a little pricey but is still a little cheaper than other units in its class. With a print speed unlike any other photo printing unit—31 pages per minute for black photos and 24 pages per minute for color photos—this little machine is a great deal at a great price. It also can print 4x6 inch photos in 21 seconds.

The Canon MP810 inkjet unit is a stylish grey with a sleek, compact design. A 3 inch screen allows the user to preview documents before printing. Direct printing from memory cards, Bluetooth devices, camera phones and digital cameras are all supported by the MP810, which is also Mac and Windows compatible. It can print on all standard document sizes.

Five Canon MP810 ink cartridges are included in the box and can be changed individually, reducing the amount of ink wasted. The black Canon MP810 ink prints with a resolution of 600x600 dpi, and the color printer ink prints with a resolution of 9600x2400 dpi. Though the printer ink consumption is a little high for this model, the price tag of Canon MP810 ink cartridges is not.

Consumer reviews of the Canon MP810 are pretty mixed. Many say the machine is not reliable, and a few have had problems with it breaking after only a couple of years of usage.
