There is a 48-bit internal color depth to magnify the vivid colors of images and graphics. The maximum copy resolution generated by the Canon MP700 ink is 1200x1200 dpi and up to 99 duplicates can be made per order.

The four individual Canon MP700 ink cartridges hold cyan, magenta, yellow and black printer ink. The black will last for about 750 prints but the color Canon SmartBase MP700 ink cartridges only have the capacity to produce up to 420 pages before expiring. Replacement printer ink is easy to find online and compatible Canon SmartBase MP700 ink is also an option, which will be friendlier to the budget while maintaining the same quality, which is 4800x1200 dpi when printing.

As this unit is designed to print photos that rival the quality produce in photo labs, memory cards and cameras can be easily inserted in designated ports. There is a USB port for standard connections and most operating systems are compatible. Up to 22 pages per minute can be printed in black-and-white and 14 pages in full color. The multiple functions are easy to access and operate, making the SmartBase MP700 ideal for offices and homes.
