The Canon PIXMA MP620 is a photo printer and all-in-one machine for home users. It includes wireless support for easy sharing, and a paper tray that can automatically open for printing. It weighs a little under 20 pounds, making it perfect for home users with limited space.
Although the model shown is slightly different in appearance, the process is the same.
Before you begin, ensure the printer is on, then open the paper tray at the front of the machine. Lift up from the paper tray area to open the main cover, lifting it all the way up so that the prop lever will hold it in place.
After a moment, the carrier for the PIXMA MP620 ink cartridges will move toward the center for easier access. Find the empty cartridge by looking for a flashing light, then press the small handle backward to unlock the cartridge and remove it.
Open the box for the new Canon MP620 cartridge and remove the plastic bag as well. Grasp the tape strip at the top and remove it, then press the small handle away from the orange protector to remove it from the cartridge.
Slide the new MP620 cartridge into the opening in the printer, pointing the front of the cartridge down a bit, then press on the top to lock it down into place. To close the main cover, lift it all the way up, then lower it down slowly.
You are now ready to resume printing with your Canon PIXMA MP620 printer.
