Canon MG6320 Printer Review

The Canon PIXMA MG6320 all-in-one inkjet printer is a good choice for the home user who wants a slimmer profile without sacrificing too many features. It has ESAT speeds of around 10 images per minute for color and 15 images per minute for black, and includes the mobile printing features of its larger relatives. Its price is a little high for the average home user, but it makes up for it with affordable Canon MG6320 printer ink.

Even with its compact design, there is very little missing from the MG6320. It has a sleek, glossy black finish, and the front tray opens forward rather than adding a lot to its height. Also hidden in the front panel are memory card slots for direct printing. The control panel features not only a bright 3.5-inch touchscreen display, but also a touch-sensitive buttons and several indicator lights for features like Wi-Fi. Users can also monitor the level of PIXMA MG6320 printer ink remaining from the display.

The unit can print, scan, and copy, the latter of which in standalone mode. A wide variety of media is supported, included CDs and DVDs, and automatic duplexing is included for easy two-sided print that can conserve paper. The input paper capacity is 125 sheets.

The unit uses 6 separate Canon MG6320 ink cartridges for better photo output. In addition to the standard CMYK configuration, it also utilizes dye black and gray PIXMA MG6320 ink cartridges. Only black Canon MG6320 ink comes in high-capacity versions, but prices are fairly reasonable overall.

It is impressive that the PIXMA MG6320 maintains most of the features of larger inkjet models in a much smaller frame, and it even has faster speeds than a few of them. Buyers will pay a bit of a premium, however, and the 6 colors of ink can get a little expensive.
