The low price of the Canon PIXMA MG3220 is certainly impressive for an all-in-one inkjet printer that can also scan and copy. Its control panel may be too simplified for some users, and its print speeds aren't the fastest, but wireless support and extras like AirPrint make it worth a look. Busy users may find the cost of Canon MG3220 printer ink too high.

The compact frame of the unit is impressive, and will certainly appeal to home users in tight spaces. It has a footprint of only 17.7x12 inches, and its 6 inch height doesn't take up much vertical space. With a weight of only 12.1 pounds without the Canon MG3220 printer ink, it is simple enough to unpack and move around as well.

There are a few corners cut for its low price, however. The first is that speeds are not particularly fast, at around 9.2 images per minute in black and 5 images per minute in color (ESAT). The other is that the control panel is barebones, without a full screen for previewing, forcing users to rely heavily on the software.
