The Canon MF6560 is a multifunction monochrome laser printer designed for the home or small office user. It has fast print speeds, duplex print and scanning, and fax capabilities at a very affordable price.

Unlike many multifunction devices, which sometimes offer affordable prices by skimping on features, paper capacity, or speed, the MF6560 skimps on nothing to achieve its low prices. Its paper capacity is a total of 600 sheets, with 500 sheets in the standard tray, and 100 sheets in its multipurpose tray, more than most competing models; and the Canon MF6560 toner cartridge capacity is completely satisfactory for a home or small office's needs. The Canon MF6560 also features not only duplex printing, but its automatic document feeder is capable of duplex scanning. This allows users to scan either one-sided or two-sided originals, and copy and print to either one or two-sided output. This gives an impressive amount of flexibility in both scanning and printing. The automatic document feeder has a capacity of up to 50 sheets. There is also a flatbed scanning surface for media that doesn't fit in the feeder.

The unit isn't exactly what one would call compact, but for a multifunction device with its printing speed, capabilities, and paper capacity, it is definitely more compact than competing products. The unit measures 17.8 inches by 20.5 inches by 17.3 inches. The unit weighs 52 pounds, so it will likely take at least two people to move it. Its size and weight may cause difficulties for home users with limited space, but if the space is available, you won't find all the MF6560 has to offer for a lower price. It also has reasonably priced ink toner.

Print speed is up to 23 pages per minute due to Canon's speedy print engine. Print quality is excellent, with a 600 dpi print resolution providing sharp, detailed text and graphics prints. The Canon MF6560 toner cartridge has a capacity of 5,000 pages which is better than the competition such as HP CP2025 toner and LaserJet 2550 toner.

Overall, the Canon MF6560 has a fantastic combination of features, speed, and even a large paper capacity in a very affordable unit. Duplex printing and scanning is a major bonus that will appeal to many users.
