For offices that need a large laser printer, the Canon imageCLASS MF5850dn may be a good place to look. The only problem with this machine for some may be its lack of color printing capabilities. For those who want scanning, copying, printing and faxing all in black-and-white, though, it will prove to be a worthwhile option. With a monthly duty cycle of 15,000 pages, the MF5850dn may be most comfortable in a small to midlevel office. Its size of 15.4x18.6x17 inch size will be a good fit in these work spaces as well; however, the 41 pound weight may require a few people to install or move.

Because this is a monochrome machine, it only needs one Canon MF5850dn toner cartridge. This is full of black printer toner and generally lasts about 6,400 pages before expiring. That means if the unit is used to its maximum capacity, users will need to replace the imageCLASS MF5850dn toner cartridge about 3 times every month.
