The Canon imageCLASS MF4570 is a 26 pound white box-shaped device with the ability to print, scan, copy and fax. It also has automatic duplex printing and an ethernet connection for networking. It is a monochrome unit, so it does not have color capabilities, but for users that only require black-and-white prints, the MF4570 is a perfect multi-purpose choice.

The scanning portion has a 24-bit color depth as well as a maximum optical resolution of 9600x9600 dpi. It is a flatbed scanner so it can handle thicker documents, such as text books or magazines. The copying feature has the ability to print multiple copies from a single original as well as enlarge or decrease the size of an image by 25%-400%. The fax machine has a 33.6 kbps modem as well as Super G3 capabilities. It has a 256 page memory and can send or receive a fax in as little as 3 seconds.

The Canon MF4570 is a fast multifunction laser printer with copying, scanning, and faxing capabilities. It includes a 250-sheet paper tray and a quick first print mode that can get the first page out in 6 seconds. Affordable supplies keep the cost per page low as well.

Although the model shown differs in appearance, the process is the same.

Lift from just under the control panel to raise up the main cover. Underneath, you will find a small handle to raise the toner panel. Look for the handle on the Canon MF4570 toner cartridge and pull it out of the machine.

Remove the new imageCLASS MF4570 toner cartridge from the box carefully, and remove packing materials and the plastic bag. Take a moment to shake the cartridge a few times to redistribute the toner powder.

Place a finger inside the tape loop on one end, and pull it straight out to remove the packing tape. Grasp the black paper that protects the drum and pull it straight out as well.

Slide your new Canon MF4570 toner cartridge into the opening, making sure it lines up with the rails on both sides. Slide it downward into the machine until it seats firmly into place. Close the small toner panel, then close the larger main panel.
