Because only one color of printer toner is used, maintenance costs will be minimal, which should keep the MF3010 within the company budget.

The copy machine works at the same output rate of 19 copies per minute. It has resizing capabilities that can shrink an image down to 50% or enlarge to 200% of the original size. The first copy will print out in less than 12 seconds and the scanning feature provides a 600x600 dpi resolution. The scanner also uses a 24-bit color depth to create accurate colors for documents that are scanned to files or emails.

The Canon MF3010 toner cartridges hold only black printer toner. Though the standard imageCLASS MF3010 toner cartridges can produce up to 1,600 prints, the starter printer toner supplied by the manufacturer yields considerably less. Brand new replacement toners can be purchased from various vendors, but the compatible Canon MF3010 toner can only be found at third party vendor sites. Using compatible imageCLASS MF3010 toner will give the same quality and quantity, but for a much more affordable price.

This unit is compatible with all major operating systems and connects to a PC via USB 2.0 port. It weighs about 17 pounds and has a black box frame that measures 14.7x10.9x10 inches.
