Canon LBP1120 Printer Review
The Canon LBP-1120 is a personal laser printer built for those who print only in monochrome. With a size of 14.3x12.1x9.1 inches, minimal space is taken up by it, and portability is the machine's middle name, thanks to the weight of only 13.2 pounds. Home users who print multiple documents every day may want to find a faster printer, because the fastest speed the Canon LBP-1120 is capable of is 10 pages per minute. For those who print rarely or only one or two documents at a time, though, it will be perfect fit. Plus it only uses one printer toner, so buyers won't have to worry too much about maintenance.
Offering wired connectivity, USB is the only type of interface included. RAM of up to 512 MB is supported, and automatic image refinement comes as a standard feature. Windows operating system is the only one compatible, and setup and installation are incredibly simple too. When using remanufactured Canon LBP-1120 toner, resolutions as high as 600x600 dpi can be obtained.
Because only black-and-white documents can be created, only one black Canon LBP-1120 toner cartridge is needed. This single black printer toner can last up to 2,500 pages before running out, so the majority of home office users will find replacing toners to be a rare occasion.
Canon LBP-1120 toner cartridges come in both genuine OEM versions and remanufactured versions. The remanufactured replacements cost a fraction of the OEM price, so obviously they are the most economical way to go. They are easy to find, replace and afford!
Transparencies, plain paper, postal card paper, envelopes, labels and index cards are all compatible with the 1120. The largest size of paper supported is 8.5x14 inches. Up to 125 sheets can fit in the input tray at any time, so those who don't print too often, won't need to replace toners often either.
