The Canon i250 inkjet unit was designed for small businesses and home photo enthusiasts. It has combined speeds of 12 pages per minute in monochrome and 9 pages per minute for color printing. With a little footprint, this printer is ideal for compact spaces.

With a 32 kb buffer built in, print jobs are more efficiently processed. The Canon i250 ink cartridges are a later generation and feature improved resolution. Some prints can attain 4800 x 1200 dpi, enabling breathtaking results. Most 8.5" media including glossy papers can be used without problem. Photo printing is excellent with fade-resistant printer ink. Cartridges yield 270 pages for black printer ink and 130 for color. Weighing 3.75 pounds with dimensions of 15.2"x6.5"x7.7", it is very petite compared to many others in its class.

This printer is a modern design requiring Windows XP and Mac 8.6 or higher to run properly. A simple USB interface provides easy setup. A complete software pack makes many different projects a reality. The Canon i250 inkjet cartridges are not the most economical based on print yields, but the printer price is right.

After reviewing the Canon I250 inkjet printer, PC Magazine was impressed with the big expensive features packed into such a small size. A low cost model with excellent features, a printer like this is usually found at a higher price. Comment was made about the flimsiness of the case Easy-to-follow setup is prompted as with most plug and play style machines.

Exceptional resolution and quick print speed show this little printer to be not only capable but a very good value in the small printer class.
