The Canon imageRUNNER C4580 color laser printer is designed for the large office environment. Its large paper capacity and fast printing speeds make it ideal for the fast-paced office environment.

The Canon C4580 color laser printer is not only one of the fastest machines on the market, but its multiple upgrade options give it a great amount of expandability and flexibility, allowing it to meet the needs of virtually any office environment. Its initial paper capacity of 1,200 sheets can be expanded with two additional 550-sheet trays, or even a 2,700-sheet paper deck.

It includes an 80 GB hard disk in its standard configuration, allowing documents to be stored directly in memory. Multiple user inboxes are supported, allowing users to store documents that are accessible only to users they specify.

In addition to the base model, the C4580, there is also a C4580i model, which includes more paper capacity, a faster processor, and more memory. While these options are all available as upgrades to the base model, high-volume offices that need the options will save money by having them included in the C4580i model.

Canon C4580 toner cartridges have a capacity of 30,000 pages for each of the color laser toner cartridges, and 26,000 for each black printer toner cartridge. ImageRUNNER C4580 toner cartridges are very affordably-priced, resulting in a low cost per page, and users can use third-party compatible cartridges for even more savings.

Print speed is among the fastest available, at 45 pages per minute for black, and 40 pages per minute for color. Print quality is stellar. Text is sharp, with defined and readable characters even at the smallest font sizes. Photo and graphics prints are excellent, with vivid, even colors that rival dedicated photo printers.

Overall, the Canon C4580 is an impressive enterprise-level printer with great features and performance, but its cost will be prohibitive for all but the largest offices.
