As a multipurpose unit, the Canon C3000 is among Canon's "Multipass" series of multifunction ink-loaded office machines. It is designed for small offices and for home users who want to combine functions to save space. It is not designed to replace printers where many copies are required. It does a good job in a pinch. The Canon C3000 ink requirements are the same as many other common Canon models. This printer prints black at 6.5 pages per minute and color at 2.5 pages per minute. Faxes transmit at 15.4 kb per second or 6 pages per minute.
Spare Canon C3000 ink cartridges can be kept on hand for either machine. A relatively small size at 15.8 x 14.2 x 7.8 inch and 12.3 pounds allows for easy placement. It has a 42-page fax memory for group transmissions and scans at 400dpi. This gives the Canon B3000 the ability to perform many functions and respectable printing with cartridge yields of 900 pages for black and 100 pages for color.
The print, phone, fax, copier and scanner functions of this machine is designed to consolidate technology and conserve room in a small office environment. A phone jack and a parallel computer port are all that are necessary to operate. Mac and Windows both work fine with this printer. The Canon C3000 inkjet cartridges are affordable and available.
In the multiple function area of these units, reviews are usually mixed because they are not designed to replace any one type of office tool. Warranty for Compatible/Remanufactured Products
Based on our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, Ink Technologies will accept returns of compatible or remanufactured ink and toner cartridges for full credit if the returned product has a valid return authorization number and is received in our warehouse within 6 months of the original shipping date. If there is a confirmed print quality issue, only 1 set of opened products will be accepted for credit returns, and only if less than 30% of the ink or toner has been used.
Ink Technologies will replace defective compatible or remanufactured products free of charge if the products are returned within 1 year of the original ship date, and provide a return shipping tag for return of the product.
