The toner cartridge actually worked. That is a lot to say for replacement product not made by Brother. Usually the cartridge leaves a lot of print powder everywhere, jams, doesn’t read. Not this one. Went in smoothly and is doing a good job. Clear clean printing.

I have tried a few companies when buying aftermarket toner and found that compared to others, this has been the best purchase. The quality of the prints are much the same as the brother toner. I am not sure about the cartridge life, I am hopeful that the cartridge life will be as long as original brother cartridge. The only negative remark I have is that it the prints are a little lighter than the original.

We've had a brother mfc9440 for about four years. We've been buying toner for it from INK Technologies for almost a year. The printer itself has very questionable print quality, which is why the print quality rating wasn't high, but that is not necessarily the fault of the toner cartridge. It's most likely the printer itself. We’ve been thrilled with the value of these cartridges.

Difference between Compatible, Remanufactured, and OEM Products

OEM (brand name) cartridges are provided by the manufacturer of the printer, such as HP, Dell or Brother. Pricing for brand name cartridges is frequently much higher than for non-brand cartridges, typically ranging from 2–5 times higher.

Compatible cartridges are made from brand new components, provided by a non-OEM manufacturer.

Remanufactured cartridges are refurbished OEM cartridges that have been inspected, repaired, cleaned and refilled.

Compatible and remanufactured cartridges both have color and page yield comparable to the brand name product at typically much lower cost, and are backed by our 6-month quality guarantee and 1 year defect warranty.

Warranty for Compatible/Remanufactured Products

Based on our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, Ink Technologies will accept returns of compatible or remanufactured ink and toner cartridges for full credit if the returned product has a valid return authorization number and is received in our warehouse within 6 months of the original shipping date. If there is a confirmed print quality issue, only 1 set of opened products will be accepted for credit returns, and only if less than 30% of the ink or toner has been used.

Ink Technologies will replace defective compatible or remanufactured products free of charge if the products are returned within 1 year of the original ship date, and provide a return shipping tag for return of the product.
