The Brother MFC-J475DW all-in-one inkjet printer is a subtle upgrade to the MFC-J475 base model, but the inclusion of duplexing and wireless support could be a big improvement in usability for some buyers. Despite a very compact design, it offers solid ISO speeds of up to 12 pages per minute for black and 10 pages per minute for color, and Brother MFC-J475DW printer ink is very affordable.

Looking at its small frame, some users might be hard-pressed to believe it can handle printing, faxing, copying, and scanning tasks. It measures just 7.1 inches tall, with a footprint of only 16.1x14.7 inches, for example, and its weigh of 19 pounds even includes the Brother MFC-J475DW printer ink supplies. Still, it includes a small 20-sheet automatic document feeder for quick scans, copies, and faxes.

Wireless setup is simple, as the device supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup, which can have the unit shared among several users with only a few button presses.
