As is the case with the Brother MFC-8880DN laser printer, which adds versatility to its long list of reasons an office will benefit from having one. Compatible with most major operating systems, it will fit right into any home or work environment. It has a standard parallel and USB port for basic PC connection, but offers ethernet-based networking so it can be shared among multiple users.

The paper capacity is 300 pages, which breaks down into a 250-sheet standard paper tray and a 50-sheet multimedia tray. There is also an output tray that can hold up to 150 pieces of paper. The automatic document feeder can operate with only 50 pages at a time. Brother MFC-8880DN toner will adhere to various paper and media types, such as photo and glossy paper, envelopes, labels and cards.

When copying, the Brother MFC-8880DN toner produces a resolution of 1200x600 dpi. Up to 99 copies can be made per an original.

The black printer toner is held in a single Brother MFC-8880DN toner cartridge. This has a yield of 3,000 pages. Replacement toners are available that can yield as many as 8,000 prints. Remanufactured Brother MFC-8880DN toner cartridges are also available from third party vendors that offer the same page yield and produce the same high quality, but cost considerably less. This monochrome laser printer will be a good fit for any small or medium sized office.
