The Brother MFC-8670DN is a multifunction monochrome printer designed for the small or medium office environment. A true all-in-one machine, it handles virtually every task an office would need, unless color printing is needed.

The design of the MFC-8670DN is surprisingly compact for a multifunction. It can fit in a fairly tight space, and is only a little larger than a big dedicated laser printer. While its design is essentially a laser printer body with a scanner stacked on top, its curved edges and integrated design make it look more appealing than some more awkwardly designed multifunction units from competitors.

The Brother MFC-8670DN has duplexing built-in, and can scan two-sided documents as well as print them. This allows users to convert 1-sided documents into 2-sided copies, or vice versa. Print speed is a fast 30 pages per minute, and should be fast enough to support a fairly large number of office users. Print quality is excellent as the machine utilizes a 1200 dpi printing engine for extra sharp images.
