Though it does lack color capabilities, black-and-white text documents come out crisp and clear with a professional finish.

The main paper tray in the MFC-7345N has the ability to hold up to 250 standard sheets of paper. There is a single-sheet feeder for multimedia, such as envelopes, greeting cards and transparencies. The flatbed scanner allows users to make copies and scans of thick documents, such as a textbook. As many as 21 pages per minute can be printed with this machine, which is a decent speed for smaller offices but will fall short of sufficient for businesses with higher-volume printing needs.

There is one Brother MFC-7345N toner cartridge that is needed for operation. The printer toner that is supplied upon purchase has the ability to last 1,500 pages. When it comes time to get new toners, a standard replacement Brother MFC-7345N toner cartridge can also last 1,500 pages while the high capacity toner have a page yield of 2,600 pages. Remanufactured versions are also available which will have the same capacities but cost much less.

A memory of 32 MB is built-in to the MFC-7345N as is the 500-page fax memory. There is a 35-page automatic document feeder and connection options of USB or ethernet ports. Networking is also available, which is a necessity for offices with multiple users. When it comes to quality, the Brother MFC-7345N toner has the ability to reach resolutions of 2400x600 dpi.
