The Brother HL-5370DW laser printer is designed for the home or small office user. It has built-in duplexing and wireless networking, as well as fast speeds and excellent print quality. The Brother toner cartridge is easily replaced. Large paper capacity is a plus, but a low monthly print volume may limit some users.

The standout feature of the Brother HL-5370DW laser printer is its built-in wireless networking support. This allows it to be easily shared across a network of computers without the need for network cables and ports. It can be easily integrated into an existing wireless network, or can act as a wireless server, which computers can connect to directly. It also has an ethernet port for connecting to wired networks, and a USB 2.0 port for connecting directly to a computer.

The unit also features automatic duplexing, or two-sided printing. This can save users considerable costs on paper, as it can potentially require half the amount of paper to print the same number of pages. Its 32 MB of memory can be expanded to a maximum of 512 MB, allowing it to handle larger print jobs. The one limiting factor is its low recommended monthly print volume of 3,500 pages, which high-volume users might find too low.

The Brother HL-5370DW is compact enough for a desktop, but still offers laser-quality output and speeds of up to 32 pages per minute. It features a 250-sheet paper tray and a 50-sheet multi-purpose tray for flexibility, and also includes duplexing and wireless networking features.

With the printer powered on, open the front access panel by pressing down on the center button and rotating the panel downward. Grasp the handle of the cartridge and drum assembly and pull it out.

Set the assembly on a piece of paper so that you can remove the Brother HL-5370DW toner cartridge from the drum assembly. Press the small button on the right side to release the cartridge, then lift it upward by the handle.

Take the new HL-5370DW toner cartridge out of the box and remove it from the packaging materials and the bag. Tilt the cartridge back and forth several times to distribute the toner inside, then remove the protective cover by prying its small handle forward.

Place the Brother HL-5370DW cartridge into the drum assembly, with the front side first, then tilt it down to snap it into place. Rotate the assembly to clean the corona wire on the back. Simply slide the small cleaning tab back and forth several times, then click it back into its original position.

Insert the assembly back into the printer. You can then close the access panel.
