The Brother HL-2250DN features both automatic duplexing and networking, despite a low price and a compact design. Ideal for home users, this compact laser printer is affordable to purchase and to operate, and it can print at speeds of up to 26 pages per minute.

Once the Toner light on the device’s top panel goes from blinking to solid, the Brother HL-2250DN toner cartridge is ready to be replaced. You should start by opening the cartridge panel by pulling it toward you and rotating it downward. You should see a small handle that you can use the pull the cartridge assembly out of the machine.

Place the assembly on a piece of paper so that you can separate the cartridge from the larger drum assembly. Push the lever at the lower left side to release the cartridge, and remove it by pulling up and toward you.

Get the new cartridge ready for installation by taking it out of the box and removing it from any packing materials, then also remove it from the bag. Wait to remove the plastic cover until you take a moment to rock the Brother HL-2250DN cartridge back and forth a few times, redistributing the toner inside. You can then remove the cover.

The new HL-2250DN toner cartridge needs to be inserted into the drum assembly before installation.
