Technology: From Old to New

What time is it? Check the iWatch. Lost? Check in with your GPS. Need help remembering a grocery list? Call or text your family for a quick response. It seems that it is getting harder and harder to stay up-to-date on all the latest advances in technology. The times are a-changing and they are doing this at rapid speeds!

Some technology advances are fun, such as those geared toward video games. Some are helpful, like those that make it easy to keep in touch with loved ones around the world. Hosting a Memorable Memorial Day

Hopefully, Memorial Day is not merely just another day off from work for you. It comes with a rich history, beginning with what was originally called Decoration Day. Although Waterloo, New York was declared the birthplace in 1966, over two dozen US cities claim to be the origin of this special holiday which officially started back in 1868. This means that you can start with essentially any animal and work through a food chain, all the way down to plants. For example, a lion eats a zebra which eats grass. In short, without plants, none of us would be here!

For the office, a simple argument boils down to the quality of the indoor air. Houseplants are pretty to look at, but they have also been shown to actually help purify the air we breathe! Considering that indoor air can be up to five times worse than the air outdoors, this makes indoor plants a necessity at the workplace. These top 10 plants are effective at removing formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon monoxide.
