Xerox Toner Cartridges

Xerox is a 100 year old company that started in 1906 in Rochester New York as The Haloid Company. Xerox invented laser printing technology and has been an innovator in the field ever since. Xerox's Emulsion Aggregation toners have been developed to reduce waste and energy while providing better quality prints and at a lower cost. The toner is produced using nanotechnology and advanced chemistry which allows the toner particles to be 40-50% smaller. The smaller size enables the toners to be fused at lower temperatures and thus use less energy. The miniature toners require 30% less energy to produce lowering the environmental impact.

The Xerox toners are available on every series of laser printers from Xerox and also use up to 50% less toner to print a document. This lowers the price per printed page, making in house color document creation and production simpler, easier and more cost effective. Recently introduced is the non-contact flash fusing process form Xerox. In this fusing technology xenon light is flashed onto the document 2,000 times a second to transfer toner to the medium. The xenon light fuses the toner to the page not a mechanism. No moving parts ever touch the printed document, and allow for easier maintenance.

The xenon flash fusing technology can achieve print speeds of 430 full color pages per minute and 600 in black and white greatly reducing the cost per page. Pages flow through the device at a blazing 226 feet per second with impeccable quality and pristine imaging. This system also accounts for the differences in toner colors and how they absorb light to better present colors. Each color is laid down sequentially starting with black and moves toward the lighter end of the spectrum. This way each color gets the necessary amount of light and heat to fuse to the paper medium consistently.
