A home or small office needs a compact, affordable printer for a multitude of business requirements. Printing color documents and monochrome documents with consistent quality is a must. Two separate laser printers from Xerox are designed for just these needs. The Xerox 6120 and Xerox 6115 MFP share a few similarities such as print speeds, Xerox toner cartridges and resolution.
They both use the same toner cartridge sizes, and can be outfitted with high capacity toner giving you more bang for your buck. The Xerox 6120 and Xerox 6115 MFP have a maximum of 700 sheets for input making them more suited for the small office or home office. Resolutions are at 600 by 600 dpi on standard mode and 2400 by 600 dpi on an enhanced setting. Along with great resolution you get color prints as fast as 5 pages per minute. For graphic rich prints, Xerox ink technology produces even better results. The Xerox 6120 has a base memory of 128 MB expandable to 640 MB, while the Xerox 6115 MFP is standard at 128 MB without the ability to expand.
The printer series differ slightly on functions and connectivity. The Xerox 6115 MFP is a multifunction printer allowing you to print, scan, copy and fax, and can print and copy both sides of a document simultaneously, an option on the 6115 MFP/N model. Duplex printing is optional on the 6120 and comes with a 128 MB upgrade with purchase. While the separate laser printers have USB and 10/100BaseTX Ethernet connections, and a parallel port is available on the Xerox 6120.
