Xerox is known for a lot of electronic devices. When it comes to printers, they introduced the innovative solid ink technology. However, Xerox also makes high quality printers that use liquid ink, such as the Xerox DocuPrint M750. This unit was designed for offices and can produce high-quality colors as well as professional-quality text documents.
Compatible with most major operating systems including Mac and Windows, this printer will work in almost any environment. Though it does not offer networking or multiple functions like a lot of the newer models, it does feature thermal inkjet technology, which uses nozzles to eject small dots of Xerox M750 ink in layers enhancing color tones.
There are four DocuPrint M750 ink cartridges in this unit which hold black, cyan, magenta and yellow printer ink. Using only the black Xerox M750 ink, up to 10 pages per minute can be created, while only 6 pages per minute can be produced in color. Xerox features InkLogic-intelligent color technology, which helps to manage the DocuPrint M750 ink and color schemes.
There is a 150-sheet paper tray and 4 different printing modes—express, draft, normal and best. Though this printer has since been discontinued, the 1200x1200 dpi resolution produced by the Xerox M750 ink is still considered above average. Unfortunately, printer ink from Xerox is relatively expensive, but there are remanufactured options out there.
Xerox M750 ink cartridges are affordable and reliable, though they do not last very long. However, the other features of this unit make up for the low page yields. It connects via USB and parallel port, making image transfers faster than ever. All in all, this inkjet unit is one of the most affordable and dependable printers on the market. It may not be the best, but the M750 will not let you down.
