Solid ink allows you to print with high quality without sacrificing cost or resolution. The solid ink is good for copying and can scan as well. This series is equipped with a multi-tasking feature that allows you to scan at the same time as you print and an Intelligent Ready function that will learn when you are most likely to print and pre warm the Xerox ink for you. This units solid ink costs are higher than Xerox 8560 solid ink or Xerox 8400 ink, but the unit's upfront cost is lower, making it more appealing for small offices.

The Workcentre C2424DN is a table top model while the C2424DP and C2424DX printers are stand alone models all with a maximum of 1,625 sheets of input.
