The Xerox Phaser 7800 is a fast working laser printer that can increase the productivity of an office. Features such as an output rate of 47 pages per minute, a 120,000-sheet monthly duty cycle and large-yielding toners will allow users to expand their workflow and produce high printing volumes. The machine also comes with a built-in touch screen that will provide users with management for every project. Black-and-white and full-color projects can print with a maximum resolution of up to 2400x1200 dpi using Xerox 7800 toner. The unit can support a number of different media types and provides a variety of media handling options. Paper handling includes a 150-sheet multipurpose tray for unique media, a 250-sheet tray for custom paper sizes and a 500-page output bin. Additional handling such as a 500-page input tray and 1,100-sheet paper feeder can expand the 7800's maximum media capacity.
The machine's four-color printer toner system is comprised of individual magenta, yellow, cyan and black Xerox 7800 toner cartridges. Users will benefit with separate Phaser 7800 toner cartridges because they can be replaced individually as they expire. Color Xerox 7800 toner has a yield of 6,000 pages and black toner lasts approximately 24,000 pages. Users have the option to purchase high-capacity color Phaser 7800 toner replacements that can yield up to 17,200 prints.
With an ethernet base as a connective option, the 7800 can provide users with networking capabilities. Another feature that makes the unit ideal for an office is its standard memory of 1 GB that can be expanded to a maximum of 2 GB. The ability to produce the first page out in less than 10 seconds will allow users to begin printing with little wait time.
