Color correction features to simplify and enhance your color printing needs are built in to the Xerox 780 color laser printer.
TekColor is perfect for business demands and applications of the toner cartridge series. It will automatically change the application of color and its shades to compensate for any discrepancies that may arise during the printing task. Or use the Color Rendering Dictionary to save specialized color instructions to provide the most precise color schemes for large and complex documents.
A 133 MHz processor and 64 MB of base memory come standard on the 780 model. The 780 Graphics and 780 Plus models come with the same processor and 96 MB and 192 MB of internal memory respectively. The print speeds are acceptable at 4 pages per minute for full color and 16 pages per minute monochrome. These rates were great when the series was new to the market, but for a busy workgroup this is a bit too slow.
Xerox Phaser 780 toner cartridges are a bit on the expensive side, and compatible Xerox toner is not available for this model, thus the per-page cost when compared to the cost of other models, such as Phaser 6180 toner, is much higher. Each color laser toner cartridge has a capacity of 5,900 pages, and the single black printer toner cartridge has a capacity of 4,500 pages. Xerox 780 toner cartridges are easy to replace.
Print directly form a PDF file or collate while printing on the Phaser 780 Plus model; these features are optional upgrades on the lower models. The color laser series comes standard with 10BaseT networking and can have 100BaseT/10Base2 and Token Rings added for a fee.
