With its 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution for color, 512MB of built-in memory, and a 40GB hard drive, it is built for serious color quality. And on this front, it delivers. Colors are incredibly accurate, with emphasis given to accurate flesh tones, which can often ruin a good print by looking unnatural. Black prints are quite good as well. Text can be sharp on fonts as small as 6pt.

Printing speed is very fast, at 35 pages per minute in color, and 45 pages per minute in black, and the first page can begin printing in as little as 9 seconds. Paper capacity can range from 650 to 3150 sheets, depending on upgrade options. Xerox toner cartridge capacities are also very high.

While the 7760 has some of the best quality toner color printing available in a color laser printer, it does come at a cost, literally.
