Large businesses can find an office printer just about anywhere. Some of the best models out there to choose from, though, offer more than just average printing. The Xerox WorkCentre 7425, for instance, can copy and scan documents too. For those who need a faxing capability, it doesn't come standard with the unit upon purchase. However, fax options can be added for those who really need it. With a size of 41.2x26.6x44.3 inches, it may seem like it takes up a ton of room, but for three machines all in one, the size isn't too bad—especially compared to other very similar units out there on the market. The 7425 is also a power horse, producing up to 60,000 pages every single month. While it comes with 1.5 GB standard, that can be upgraded at any time to 40 GB.

Four Xerox 7425 toner cartridges are used inside the unit. There are three color toners—cyan, magenta and yellow. The last is filled with black printer toner. The color WorkCentre 7425 toner lasts 15,000 pages, while the black lasts 26,000 pages. Compared to a lot of similar unit's out there, this one offers a very low cost per page, thanks to inexpensive, high yielding WorkCentre 7425 toner cartridges.

As far as speeds go, it is average. When printing in black-and-white, only 25 pages per minute can be produced. If printing with color Xerox 7425 toner, speeds are even slower at 20 pages per minute. That won't be fast enough for most people. The first page out for black prints is quick though, at only 6.7 seconds. Color prints are fairly quick too at only 8.7 seconds. Using the Xerox 7425 toner, resolutions as high as 600x600 dpi can be reached, and the printer even comes with features like banner sheets, delay print, booklet printing and mirror imaging.
