The Xerox Phaser 7400 laser printer has some of the fastest printing speeds in class, and uses LED single pass technology to lower the time needed to print. This series of printers has five models to choose from making it even easier to fit your budget, needs and business demands. Three models, the Xerox 7400N, Xerox 7400DN and 7400DT are desktop models and have a standard input of 800 sheets. The 7400DT is slightly higher at 1350. The Xerox 7400DX and 7400DXF have the maximum input of 3,000 sheets, optional on the lower models.
The Xerox 7400 series of printers uses Artisan Toner cartridges for Phaser color printers. These are 100% new and never refurbished or refilled; they are high capacity toners and will save money by reducing the cost per page. The LED single pass technology uses a light source, the LED, to transfer all of the color in a single pass instead of each color separately. This lessens the maintenance and running costs of the machine, a great asset for budgeting. Print speeds are fast, up to 36 pages per minute for color documents and 40 pages per minute for monochrome prints.
Fast print speeds and clean clear prints can be attributed to the LED technology and great memory. All of the Xerox 7400 series printers have a maximum memory of 1 GB, upgradeable from 512 MB or 256 MB depending on the model. The lower end models, the Xerox 7400N and 7400DN have an optional hard disk which is standard on the higher end models allowing you to save fonts, frequently used documents and proofs.
