The Xerox Phaser 6120 is a color laser printer designed for small and medium office environments. It features solid color printing and decent printing speeds, but its text tends to be heavier than normal. An alternative but comparable printer would be the LaserJet 1500 toner printer by HP.
The first thing one will notice about the Phaser 6120 is its bold design. The Xerox 6120 comes with a 200 sheet tray that operates as both the standard tray and the multipurpose tray, as there is no second tray. While this saves cost, it does mean that standard paper will have to be removed every time the user needs to change media. This should be a consideration for users who use a variety of media on a regular basis. Xerox does offer a 500 sheet add-on tray if the 200 sheet capacity is not enough.
The Xerox 6120 toner cartridges come preinstalled, making setup a breeze. The black Xerox Phaser 6120 cartridge is a high-yield version with a 4,500 page capacity, and the color Xerox Phaser 6120 cartridges are standard versions with a 1,500 page capacity each. Overall, the Xerox Phaser 6120 is a great choice for a small to medium office. With its built-in networking and compact design, it is easy to fit in to any setup. Lack of a separate multipurpose tray me be a problem for some users.
