Compact design, good print quality, and a low price make this a model worth considering for small office use. Its small paper capacity might be an issue for larger offices. The Xerox Phaser 6110 color laser printer has a compact design. At 15.4" tall and 13.6" deep, it will fit in tight spaces, including some furniture built for inkjet models. The unit weighs just 30 lbs. Because of its compact size, it may be a good choice for small or home offices. Print quality is fairly sharp, in line with other models at this price point. Colors are accurate and well-defined, though not as impressive as more expensive models.

On the whole, print quality is impressive given the compact size and price, which sometimes come at the cost of print quality in other models. Xerox 6110 toner cartridges are a concern. Xerox toner color laser toner cartridges are rated for 1000 pages each, and the black printer toner cartridge is rated for 2000 pages. High-volume users may be disappointed in the capacity of the cartridges, however, as it will cause them to change cartridges more often than larger units. Cost per page is higher than many models. Xerox 6130 toner has almost twice the toner capacity for only a little higher price, for example.

The paper input tray only holds 150 pages maximum, so expect to replenish paper often if your printing needs are high in addition to the toner cartridge. Coupled with the fact that the output tray only holds 100 pages, you may be spending a lot of time in front of the printer. Lastly, if you need networking options, the 6110N model includes an ethernet port, which allows it to be shared across a network. The other models are the Phaser 6110B and 6110MFP.

Overall, the Xerox 6110 color laser printer is a solid performer for a small office where space is at a premium, and high-volume printing is not required. Larger offices or those that require more capacity may want to look elsewhere.
