IMPORTANT: Ink Technologies will not accept returns unless a return authorization number has been issued.
Before initiating your return, please check our toner and ink troubleshooting tips. Many common problems are easily resolved without having to replace the printer cartridge.
Please initiate your return request by submitting our online return request form. We will typically respond to your request via e-mail within a few business hours of the request. If you request is accepted, our e-mail response will contain a return authorization number and shipping instructions, otherwise we will include additional questions to clarify the request. If you do not hear back from us within 1 business day, or if there is a dispute related to the request, call our toll free number, 1-866-313-2879 (International customers call 1-937-630-3083). In order to ensure prompt customer service, please make sure you have submitted your online return authorization request and have your original order number available before you call.
Returns must be received in our warehouse, based on return shipping postmark date, within the specified time frames, and be in acceptable condition based on the type of return (non-warranty or warranty). It is important to pay close attention to return dates and to return your products immediately after receiving a return authorization number. Returned products must meet our criteria of acceptance before we issue a credit or ship a replacement.
If the returned product does not meet our acceptance criteria, we will make a reasonable attempt to contact you, using the contact phone number and contact e-mail address provided on the original order or return request, to arrange for return or disposal of the item. If we do not receive a response to rejected items within 2 weeks of our attempted contacts, including instructions for return shipping pickup, rejected items will be discarded.
All returns must have the return authorization number clearly written, preferably in black marker, on the outside of the shipping box. This is critical for us to correctly identify the item when it is received into our return warehouse. Please also include a copy of the original sales order, packing list or invoice. Compatible or Remanufactured Ink or Toner Cartridges and Supplies
Based on our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, Ink Technologies will accept returns of compatible or remanufactured ink and toner cartridges for full credit if the returned product has a valid return authorization number and is received in our warehouse within 6 months of the original shipping date. All non-defective products must be returned with complete original shipping and product packaging material and contents, and the product and packaging must be in original, "as shipped" condition, unless the customer is dissatisfied with print quality. If there is a confirmed print quality issue, only 1 set of open products will be accepted for credit returns, and only if less than 30% of the ink or toner has been used. Customers are responsible for any shipping charges and insurance associated with returns for credit.
Ink Technologies will replace defective compatible or remanufactured products free of charge if the products are returned within 1 year of the original ship date, and provide a return shipping tag for return of the product. Before concluding that your cartridge is defective, please review our cartridge troubleshooting tips.
All defective products that are returned under warranty will be inspected prior to replacement approval. We will not accept returned products that exhibit evidence of tampering or physical damage due to customer use, or were purchased from a different vendor. In addition, we will not accept ink or toner cartridges as defective if more than 50% of the ink or toner has been used.
OEM or Brand Name Ink or Toner Cartridges, Supplies, or Printers
Ink Technologies will accept returns of non-defective OEM or Brand Name products for credit if the returned product has a valid return authorization number and is received within 30 days of the original shipping date. All non-defective products that are returned for credit must be returned with complete original shipping and product packaging material and contents, and the product and packaging must be in original, "as shipped" condition, no exceptions. All returns for credit of OEM products will be charged a 15% restock fee. Customers are responsible for any shipping charges and insurance associated with returns for credit.
For defective OEM (brand name) products, the product manufacturer (e.g., HP, Canon, Dell, etc.) must be contacted directly for warranty replacements; the OEM vendor will only replace defective cartridges if sent directly from the end user. Manufacturer warranty can range from 30 days to 1 year or more depending on the manufacturer and the product. Customers can elect either of these two methods of replacing their products:
Get your return authorization number, return your product, and we will ship your replacement free of charge after receiving and inspecting your returned products.
If you urgently need your replacement, we will charge your credit card for the original purchase price of the replaced product(s), and ship the product free of charge using the original shipping method.
If you receive a product that is damaged by shipping, please initiate a return authorization request within 5 business days after receipt of the package. Do not throw away or alter any of the product and packaging, it must be in the same condition as it was received in order for us to properly establish that the damage was due to shipping, and not due to some other cause. We will not accept claims for shipping damage if any of the packaging or contents have been altered or discarded.
Depending on the original shipping source, we will process the damage claim in one of two ways:
For some claims, we will have to contact the shipping company and file a claim to have the shipping company schedule a pickup and inspection of the package from the customer location.
For some claims, we will issue a return authorization number for you to return the package to our returns warehouse, following the normal return procedure.
After we are able to properly establish that the product was damaged during shipping, InkTechnologies will process your return based on our Return Policy.
