Samsung ML-2150 Toner Cartridges

The Samsung ML-2150 is a monochrome laser printer geared for the small or medium office environment with the added benefit of being able to purchase a genuine or compatible Samsung toner cartridge. It offer decent print speeds and excellent print quality, and has the capacity to support a large number of users.

The ML-2150's design is typical for a workhorse laser printer, a generally boxy beige design with no flashiness, but built for business. The input paper tray is located on the bottom, with a capacity of 500 sheets, and if that is not enough, a second tray can be added for another 500 sheets of input. A multipurpose tray is accessible from a front panel which opens out, and has a capacity of around 100 sheets, depending on the media. There is also a single-sheet straight path available from the back of the printer for media that cannot be bent or is susceptible to paper jams. As with any printer built for business, the ML-2150 supports a wide variety of media types and sizes.

The top of the Samsung ML-2150 includes the output paper tray and the control panel. The paper tray has a small tab which can flip out to catch larger paper sizes such as legal paper to keep it from sliding onto the floor. The control panel features a two-line LCD display and a useful array of buttons which provide quick access to nearly every feature available on the ML-2150 through its well-designed menu. There is also a dedicated 'Toner Save' button which puts the printer into a mode which reduces the amount of printer toner used per page, saving on toner costs.

Print speed is decent, at around 20 pages per minute, but not particularly impressive. Print quality, on the other hand, is very impressive. Even small fonts have a nice amount of sharpness and detail. Graphics quality suffers, but business printers are more focused on quality text printing, and the ML-2150 doesn't disappoint.

Overall, the Samsung ML-2150 toner printer provides great print quality and the capacity to handle a fairly large number of users. Slower print speeds are its only real flaw.
